There are several high end timeshare resorts in the area that are excellent for family vacations. Sheraton Vistana (2 locations) Marriott Palms (4?) locations, Hilton Grand Vacation (3 locations) Wyndham Bonnet Creek are all very popular options. Bookings can be done with the hotel chain themselves, but it is generally less expensive to book through skyauction (but read and understand add-ons fees - sliding scale by date) or direct from an owner (Redweek or Timeshare User Group). ETA: the advantage of timeshare resorts is that they are very similar in size and amenities to the DVC properties. Generally great pools with water features, large 2 or 3 bedroom villas with full kitchen, living and dining areas, on-site dining, so you are not just cooped up in a 200 square foot box for the week. It is a much more relaxing vacation for our family than a hotel type vacation as everyone has space!
