Honolulu Airport Hotel - Help

We would like to drop our rental car off later on a Friday evening for an early Saturday morning flight to LAX.

Any suggestions for a hotel very close to the airport? We would like to be able to take a shuttle in the morning right from the hotel to the airport.

and then

We stayed at the Best Western in May, which was fine for 1 night. We landed late and used the shuttle to get to the hotel. We then walked to Alamo rental car the next morning. McDonalds, Dunkin Donuts, and Ihop are also walking distance. We did online check in and requested a quiet room/high floor, and ended up with a surprisingly nice view.

For a flight on Saturday morning it would be at most a 30 minute drive from waikiki to car rental drop off by airport. I would rather stay at the hotel for the last night and just drive in the morning instead of packing up and going to a hotel that is closer to the airport for last night. But do whatever makes you happy.

There's a nice beach park called Ke'ehi Lagoon just east of the airport hotels as well - perfect for watching the sun rise/set and relaxing before whatever the day ahead brings - a long flight or an adventure into town.

We stayed at the Best Western last time. It was ok and met our needs, but nothing fancy by any stretch of the word. The rooms were recently re-decorated and everything was clean. The service was good as well. We also walked to Alamo the next morning. The hotel is right next to the highway, and the airport, so it was loud. Bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper.
