Hollywood Studios NYE

If you were planning on Hollywood Studios NYE what are the crowds like. Is it like MK where the car park closes 10.30am and only resort guest are allowed to a level.

They were staying offsite.

This will be the first time and first day of the trip to WDW.

Personally I think they are crazy. Probably near impossible to get on any rides!

DHS and AK will be the easier of the 4 parks. Lines will be long all around but it shouldn't close to capacity and if it does it'll reopen later

We went NYE 2016 to HS. Yes, there were crowds but we didn’t think it was any worse than spring break. We got fast passes and enjoyed the atmosphere.

And during the countdown to midnight and all the NYE fireworks many of the rides/attractions are walk on! Much different than MK and Epcot.

What are the fireworks like?

It's the regular star wars spectacular show, so it's not any type of countdown. Also, DHS can't do any type of high fireworks because of the construction so if you're looking for nye fireworks you'll be disappointed
