Or even, budget be darned, actually send them on a route somewhere. You know, so some lucky guests somewhere don’t have to wait the full 20 minutes for a ride.

But that is what they do now, to boost their "resource utilization" numbers. The problem is that when a need comes up, any extra drivers are out doing "busy work" runs, and it might be half an hour until they're back to handle the storm refugees.

So I say keep a driver or 2 somewhere at the depot where they can spring into action immediately.
