I like the Macy's scarf if she's going for more warmth, and the Etsy scarf if she's going for more fashion-forward and isn't worried about a cooler climate.

Totally love that outfit but I am not in love with either scarf if it is meant to match up with that outfit, too many things happening. For the outfit I'd go bedazzled glam or plain black to align with the Doc Martens.
As its own thing I do very much like the Macy's scarf.

Between the two, I would choose the leopard print. However, I have an irrational hatred for paisley. Even if I didn’t have that irrational hatred, I think I would still choose the leopard. Or, ditch the scarf and go for bold and fun earrings along the lines of this:

Okay starting with the Senior Citizen Brigade,
Apparently, DGD is an old lady at heart. She borrowed at least two of my paisley scarfs and agreed to “eventually” return the two I’ve identified. In her world if I don’t recall what is missing- whyyy it must belong to her.
Have I mentioned she’s a monster child from a long line of same?

She also likes my collection of animal print accessories and I’m trying to entice her with a more modern version with cleaner graphics. Be nice if she moves on.

Unseen are any silk scarfs.
I’m not haranguing, fighting, negotiating, nothing-“ing” about them. They are mine. Full stop .
One of my Swiss Miss friends will take her shopping at an atelier in the industrial section of Zurich. Her father will pay for them and he better not blanch as I can’t feel his pain…

Errr…about those Hermes scarfs QE2 wore? She took a beautiful collection and made them look overpriced dowdy matron. Just sad.

your dgd would love a box in my closet-full of scarves and pashminas from back in the day, have not been worn in years but it kills me to think of tossing them. dh had a similar box of ties-from the super skinny trends to the wide but oldest kiddo snagged those several years ago.

My honest opinion - I'm not sure if that particular outfit calls for a scarf. The metallic fabric is unique and could easily stand on its own without an additional accessory. That said, if your DGD likes scarves and is a fan of animal print, I would go with the Macy's option. She could choose to wear it with the outfit or with something else.
