Help with Wedding Ears

Exactly what do the honeymooners gain by wearing those "wedding ears"? My daughter is getting married in April and will be honeymooning in Disney.....but they will be staying at a timeshare and of course going to many disney places......so if any of you can help me I would really appreciate it....it will be really hard to convince my future son-in-law to wear this .

Discussions about the ears as recently as two weeks ago. You aren't guaranteed to gain anything but good cheer by wearing them, but we and others on the board have enjoyed certain benefits.

We just came back from our Disney Honeymoon in Dec. and we wore our ears EVERYWHERE!!! We got TONS of FREE stuff. I just posted some of the info on another posting also about what kinds of stuff we got. Like Andrew said, you're not guaranteed anything by wearing them, but it does get noticed.

We received free Mickey desserts after our meals, we got to sit in front row of some rides w/out waiting, sometimes we got our own boat/car on certain rides. CM's made anouncements on the PACKED bus about welcoming us as newlyweds, tons of cheers and congrats, characters Love playing around with your veil/tophat when you take photos with them. There's just tons of stuff that made our honeymoon special because we wore the ears. Sometimes we didn't wear the ears and it was ok, CM's still had "Magical" attitudes, but we were "noticed" when we wore them.
