We're very experienced Disney travelers, but just want some other opinions in the mix. We have 4 adults, a 7-year-old and a baby. Would you stay in a 2 bedroom savannah view villa at Kidani Village or 2 suites at Art of Animation? We're having a hard time saying no to the Skyliner access at Art of Animation, especially with a baby. It would be so easy to come back from HS or EP for naps, roll the stroller right on, etc. We like the idea of the atmosphere at Animal Kingdom Lodge though, but thinking about buses or driving everywhere feels like a pain.
Art of Animation Pros:
- Cool theming for the 7-year-old
- Skyliner access
- Space (but we're in 2 suites that can't connect... which could be good or bad - ha!)
Animal Kingdom Lodge Kidani Pros:
- Atmosphere/Animal View/Balcony
- Water Slide at the pool
- Space (and we're all together)
- Washer/Dryer
I know the AKL Kidani Pros list is longer, but the Skyliner just really holds a lot of weight... understandably, right? Ha! We have visited both resorts for dining and exploring, but never stayed at either.
What are your thoughts??? What would you do?
