I’d imagine it will be ILL and VQ. Right now there is only one ILL at Epcot and MK. Thinking they did this to add GOTG and Tron (eventually). Surprised they don’t move SDD to ILL.

Playlist, Villain Revealed for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT​

When Disney Imagineers were developing this family-thrill coaster, they came up with a list of more than 100 potential songs for the Starjumpers’ onboard sound system. The team rode the attraction over and over again (it’s a tough job, but somebody’s gotta do it) testing how various tracks fit with the spirit and the movement of the coaster. They finally settled on this “Awesome Mix” of six songs, in their classic versions:

• “September”
• “Disco Inferno”
• “Conga”
• “Everybody Wants to Rule the World”
• “I Ran”
• “One Way or Another”

You won’t know which track you’ll hear each time you ride until you actually blast off with the Guardians on an intergalactic chase through time and space. You’ll need all the encouragement you can get, too, because the Guardians are asking for our help to stop Eson, the Celestial seen in the image above, from completing what I’m going to assume is a nefarious plan.

More Cast Member Preview Dates Announced for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind​

Cast Members will have another chance to ride Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind before it opens to the general public. Registration for the next round of preview dates for Cast and their guests will open on Monday, April 25, and close on Friday, April 29 at 5:00 p.m. ET or once registration is full.

The dates offered will be:

• Wednesday, May 11
• Thursday, May 12
• Friday, May 13
• Sunday, May 22
• Monday, May 23
• Tuesday, May 24

More Ride Backstory Revealed for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind

A new sign has been unveiled at the entrance to the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind that reveals more of the backstory of the attraction. The sign offers a brief description of the roller coaster, along with some standard warnings for an attraction of this style.

Be aware that you will be transported to a Nova Cruiser orbiting above Terra for a demonstration which will consist of a thrilling high-speed, turbulent – what you Terrans would call a ‘roller coaster-type ride’ that goes forward and backward through the dark. It includes sharp turns sudden drops and stops.

Cast Members Can Sign up for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind Previews with Family & Friends Starting at Midnight (SOLD OUT)​

As EPCOT continues to get ready for the attraction's grand opening on May 27, 2022, eligible Cast Members will soon have a chance to register for more Disney Cast Life Previews with friends and family.

Cast Members and up to two Guests will be able to attend Disney Cast Life Previews beginning in May. Cast can register for only one preview experience with Guests. If you signed up for Cast Member early sneak peeks in April, you are still eligible to register for a Disney Cast Life Preview in May.

Terry Crews Will Star in Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT

Disney has just announced that Terry Crews will star as Centurion Tal Marik, Commander of the Starcharter and close advisor to Nova Prime.

Marik must call on the Guardians because it’s “SAVE THE GALAXY TIME…again!”

Disney Parks Jobs has shared some Cast Member reactions to their preview of the Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind attraction at EPCOT. In the video, we get our first look at the (rather pedestrian) unload station for the attraction. Here’s a look.
