Grand Loft Suite… Star Level questions

Recently read a post about Grand Loft Suite Star Level on Royal Caribbean. After 12 Disney only cruises we are ready to spread our wings DH and I are now travel just the two of us. We watched a video of the Grand Loft suite with multiple balconies and fell in love. I have tried checking a few cruises and dates but it is also a suite with one balcony. Is there any website that list all the corner balcony numbers for the GL? Do you have a favorite Star level room (the genie sounds amazing)? Is there an easier way to search for cruises with certain room types available? I am familiar with DCL searching but brand new to searching RCCL. Thank you for help or advice.

We were in a loft suite (not a grand loft suite) last week on the Harmony. Basic loft suites are sky class. I believe if you look at the deck plans for deck 17 you'll see there are only a few (2 or 4?) and they are at the "corners".

Even though this post is a month old figured it would be ok to share some info. We have done one of the Grand Loft Suites with 3 balconies in the past so happy to answer any questions. We chose that with the extra outside space for sailing Alaska and loved it and the multiple viewing options it provide.

Here are a few things I can pass along.
- There are only three ships that have that configuration. All are in the Quantum class, but two ships do not have those specific suites.
- Thay are found on Anthem, Quantum and Ovation. Check deck plans on Royal‘s site or something like cruise ship deck plans. Com to verify as you research.
- The corner rooms are the only ones with that 3 balcony configuration in the Grand Loft Suite group. The inside square footage is quite a bit smaller than the single balcony Grand Loft Suites.
- The Owners and Royal Loft Suites on the Quantum class also have the extra balconies but go up in square footage (and price).
- The Spectrum of the Seas is the only ship in the class that does not have the multiple balcony option, it’s suites are upper decks at the forward area of the ship, so only side facing balconies.

It was awesome for watching the scenery in Alaska, so do recommend it. We have stayed in other loft suites on the oasis class so happy to compare/contrast those too.

Good luck with your planning and fell free to message me if you have any specific questions (About the room or Star class, we have done lots of DCL so can compare that too.)

Just a simple post NOT r.e. Star Level on RCI but on MSC Divina for a 7 night Western right now and our Yacht Club Level cruise is so empty that we have A PERSONAL BUTLER since we are the only cabin occupied on deck 16 starboard side. Had booked cruise at $5,100.00 way back. We have a Nov/22 for 7 night then April/23 for a 7 night and B2B for a 4 + 3 Nov/23 all YC.

We are very low maintenance and cruise just to relax so nothing exciting to write about. Thought the weather would be a problem due to the storm but we only had 1 night of rough seas. Our Butler wanted to escort us everywhere on the ship that we would go but especially to our restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner and then retrieve us for the return to cabin or wherever we were going. We told him dinner was fine. Did book 2 more cruises while on the ship since a minimal amount holds the booking.

Thank you. I’ll have to check out MSC We cruise for the same reason. To relax and recharge. Sleep, exercise, eat, sleep, fresh air, eat, fresh air, sleep, eat, exercise in the fresh air, sleep…or some mix of the eat, sleep/relax, exercise mix :)

So I just booked our first MSC cruise Yacht Club. So excited but nervous too. I know everything about before, embarkation, debarkation, etc for Disney but clueless about msc. Off to do research !
