July 5th 2017 I hit my bottom. I had no reference or person to talk to, so I messaged Pete for advice. He helped put me on the right path, and I keep his reply as a reminder.
Since that day I’ve learned and accepted no one is perfect. Everyone of us has demons. I am glad Pete is taking this next step.

Pete, I have all the words of encouragement for you! I admire your transparency and, yes, bravery. It’s sometimes hard to know when one is beginning to slip; it takes surrounding oneself with good people who care for, and love you enough to tell you when you’re heading toward that banana peel.

Drying out is one of the toughest things one can do when one has an addiction. STAYING dry is even harder unless one has that support.
I hope the well wishes people have responded with here gives you wings to carry you through the tough times.
