Did you notice that there were alot of what looked like park Upper Management style people escorting what looked like just regular park goers. When we were in line to get in and also on some of the park rides I saw management looking folks letting people in the park and on rides it was the same thing. Am I the only one noticed?

I wasn't there that week, but in the last few years Disney's management has asked it's executives and junior execs working in cushy desk jobs to work in the parks on a busy day to fully understand what it's like for the parks' cast members, (supposedly in an effort to understand why they have such a heavy turnover in jobs, and also to find out first hand what's working and what isn't in the parks).

I wasn't there that week, either. However, in my experience at DL and here in Vegas, it was "somebody". You just couldn't tell!!! The tip-off for me "celeb-watching" is almost always a baseball cap and sunglasses.

YMMV...

Yeah, I knew that they were doing that but, this was different. They were with the actual people walking places and standing in line with them.

I can always spot a famous person anywhere. My brother works with most of them on shows or movies so he has taught me how to spot them.
These people seemed to be just regular guests.

I was thinking that maybe they had won a trip there or something. It was different.

We were there, thinking about it now we did kinda see something like that. It was in DTD though over by the DLH. We kinda thought it was a employee orientation or something. It looked like they were teaching the people with them about everything.

We also saw a group in the park kinda like that, but I just assumed it was a paid tour. They all looked like regular people to me too. I didn't recognize them as anyone famous. But it was hot, so I wasn't really seeing straight. LOL We were there Sunday-Thursday of that week.

Could it be people who paid for private tours? Anyone can book a private tour, and I believe, can request rides as part of it.

Private tours would be conducted by Guest Relations CMs, not by suits, as we call them. Likely it had to do with the gift DL gave to CHOC on the 17th--could be the suits were assigned to showing some of them around the park as part of the whole 51st b-day.
