Thanks guys for the kind words about my pictures and my girls! The girls sure have grown since our first trip. I love the old pics that disneyfav4ever linked too! Here is a picture of them together eating the chocolate cake at Beaches & Cream:

For comparison, here is one of the girls eating at Beaches and Cream in 2003 (they are sitting on opposite sides in this picture from the picture above):

Les Chefs de France

Les Tarts des Chefs (original flatbreads)
a la Flamme Alsacienne - Alsace specialty - creme fraiche, onion and bacon $8.25
WDWSummer09096.jpg

French roll with real butter, not that fake stuff so prevalent at Disney now.
WDWSummer09095.jpg

We always have enjoyed lunch at Chefs and were a bit dismayed to hear that they added this character to the restaurant. It is so not needed and there are way too many character meals now. However, this is very tasteful and subtle and the waiter is quite funny. It is not intrusive and you do not have a bunch of bratty kids running around the table. Good job Disney!
WDWSummer09093.jpg

Bisque de Homard - lobster bisque $6.25
WDWSummer09097.jpg

Soupe a l'oignon gratinee - the classic onion soup topped with Gruyère cheese $5.95
WDWSummer09098.jpg

Gratin de Macaroni - Baked macaroni with cream and gruyere cheese $14.25
WDWSummer09099.jpg

WDWSummer09130.jpg

WDWSummer09132.jpg

Fish and Chips from Yorkshire Fish Shop
WDWSummer09154.jpg

Ice Cream from Dinosaur Gertie's Ice Cream of Extinction
WDWSummer09179.jpg

Contempo Cafe

6 Ounce Angus Cheeseburger - served with choice of cheddar, American or Pepper Jack cheese
WDWSummer09424.jpg

6 Ounce Angus Bacon Cheeseburger - served with choice of cheddar, American or Pepper Jack cheese
WDWSummer09423.jpg

Spice Crusted Mahi - topped with citrus-apple slaw on a Kaiser roll
WDWSummer09425.jpg

Hot Open-faced Roast Beef Sandwich - roast beef on toasted French bread with rosemary wine sauce and roasted wedge potatoes topped with cheesy breadcrumbs. This sounded way better than it tasted. Gross!
WDWSummer09427.jpg

Roasted Curry Vegetable Bulgur Salad - zucchini, squash, eggplant, vine-ripe tomatoes, onions, dried cherries and Romaine hearts in a yogurt-pesto dressing
WDWSummer09426.jpg

Brownie
WDWSummer09421.jpg

Cookie
WDWSummer09422.jpg

Black Forest Cupcake. Another thing that looked better than it tasted. The frosting was disgusting.
WDWSummer09420.jpg

WDWSummer09428.jpg

Sunshine Seasons

Turkey and Muenster Cheese on Foccacia with Chipotle Mayonnaise $6.99 and a brownie.
WDWSummer09450.jpg

WDWSummer09448.jpg

Caesar Salad with Oak-fired Chicken $8.49
WDWSummer09449.jpg

Grilled Vegetable Cuban Sandwich $7.59 Very good!
WDWSummer09452.jpg

Backside of Grilled Vegetable Cuban Sandwich $7.59 and a rice krispy treat that did not seem to have any marshmallow in it whatsoever. Ick!
WDWSummer09453.jpg

Tomato and mozzarella salad.
WDWSummer09454.jpg

Strawberry shortcake and key lime "pie". Even though they call this key lime pie, it's more like a lime jello mousse thing. It was gross. The strawberry shortcake was only slightly better. I'm not sure why people rave about these desserts when World Showcase has lots of way better sweets.
WDWSummer09451.jpg

Cantina de San Angel

Plato Combinacion - chicken taco, beef burrito and a quesadilla served with black refried beans and Mexican salsa $9.25 This did not come with black beans. It used to, but not anymore.
WDWSummer09455.jpg

This is what they call a quesadilla. It was not good and had hardly any cheese in it. Cheese is key in a quesadilla, which has two main ingredients- a tortilla and some cheese.
WDWSummer09456.jpg

Tangierine Cafe

Shawarma Platters- served with hummus, Tabouleh, and a Tangierine CousCous Salad with a Fresh Moroccan bread
Chicken & Lamb Combo $13.95

WDWSummer09480.jpg

Lamb only.
WDWSummer09479.jpg

Pecos Bill Cafe

Tasteless cheeseburger (according to DD) and chili-cheese sauce fries. Cheese sauce on fries?
WDWSummer09500.jpg

El Pirate ye el Perico

Beef Tacos - Two corn tortillas filled with seasoned beef, served with yellow rice $5.99
WDWSummer09501.jpg

Roaring Fork- we ate here various times on the last 4 days of our trip.

Ham and Tillamook Cheddar - with vegetable pasta salad$8.89 and chocolate bundt cake.
WDWSummer09681.jpg

Grilled Vegetable Sandwich - with vegetable pasta salad$8.89 plus chili and a brownie.
WDWSummer09682.jpg

Tuna Salad Sandwich - with vegetable pasta salad $9.09
WDWSummer09683.jpg

Free cookie we got since no kids showed up to the cookie decorating activity. With cookies like these, I can see why nobody showed up. It was gross, especially the frosting. What is it with Disneyworld frosting?
WDWSummer09684.jpg

Make your own yogurt parfait with granola and fresh berries, cinnamon raisin bagel.
WDWSummer09795.jpg

Adult breakfast platter- eggs, hashbrowns, bacon and a dry biscuit. Really good except for the biscuit. Also an okay cherry danish.
WDWSummer09796.jpg

Cheeseburger, chocolate chip cookie and pepperoni flatbread. Saratoga Springs does not need to worry about Roaring Forks cutting into their flatbread business. The SSR flatbreads are way, way better and are always fresh and hot to order. This one was clearly made ahead of time and had a burnt cheese flavor to it, as in smoke.
WDWSummer09001.jpg

Chefs special- pasta with meat marinara. Now how can you have a meat marinara, when marinara by definition is meatless? Whatever. This was okay, but suffered also from a burnt cheese smoke smell. Roaring Forks needs to clean their oven. I did not like how it was premade. It seemed like a frozen dinner.
WDWSummer09002.jpg

Chicken noodle soup.
WDWSummer09003.jpg

Wolfgang Puck Express

Chinois (Shin-wah) Chicken Salad - roasted all natural chicken breast, fresh Asian vegetables and cripsy wontons, dressed with Honey Mustard $10.95
WDWSummer09060.jpg

Crispy Chicken - crispy white meat tenders with Ranch dressing or Tangy BBQ sauce, served with herb-seasoned fries $10.95 plus a side of mac and cheese.
WDWSummer09061.jpg

Baked Four Cheese Macaroni - mozzarella, fontina, cheddar and Gorgonzola cheeses with fresh artisan elbow macaroni, baked until bubbly and golden brown Served with petite organic mixed baby greens $10.95
WDWSummer09062.jpg

Main Street Bakery

Various Sandwiches, snacks, and desserts.

I dug up food pictures from two Disney World restaurants. First is Garlic Shrimp Pasta and Chicken Crunch from Planet Hollywood:

Second is some bread animals and some very disappointing Curry Chicken from the Coronado Springs' Pepper Market (I really don't want to know what parts of the chicken they used):
