Food & Drink on Fireworks cruises

Not sure if this is the right place...or if these questions are answered elsewhere, so any guidance would be appreciated.

We want to try and book a Fireworks cruise (Wishes, Illuminations...either). I know they provide snacks. Can you bring on your own dinner...either from a WDW restaurant or another? What about wine...is it allowed? We will have 12 in the party, so it will be just our party.

We will be celebrating my birthday and (hopfully) the completion of my PhD, so we'd like to make the event really special. So, any other ideas someone might have would be appreciated too.

It was almost two years ago, but we did bring alcohol on the boat. We purchased it from the store in the Yacht Club.
