Boyz Trip Day 1​

We grabbed our luggage and headed out into the beautiful Florida weather!!
The boys were so happy the first thing they did was put their faces to the sky.
Yes Boys that's the sun! Ya know we could LIVE HERE..

Since the Realtor canceled on us we had a free day! So we headed on over to their house and the boys were loving the neighborhoods. the sights and CLEANLINESS of Florida! Pulled into their sub-division and we were at our friends' home. I LOVE THEIR HOUSE! so beautiful - One day yes we will be here permanently one day!!!
we settled in and unpacked a few things for our hosts with the most

Pizza and Ricobene's steak sandwiches!

Zack did end up getting in too I say at the edge with my feet in
It was GLORIOUS!

We had such a great time!! All sitting around the table laughing hysterically just enjoying life! it really was one of my favorite memories of this trip.

after a long day of travel and a great night it was time to call it an evening. we had a long day ahead of us!

it took us a bit to get in but we did!

After oohing and ahhing over the new entrance look Zack headed to the bathroom to put in his contacts..
Yes- he waited to get to the park to put in contacts in a theme park public bathroom..

After Zack put his eyes on we were off

Spaceship Earth was down at the moment so we headed right over to Soarin!


SO WEIRD not having FP but we waited.
Matt was texting his GF. he is lucky I adore her.. LOL but i did have to yell at him a couple of times..

Kathy and Haley had different palates then we did this day so we separated to go find some nums,
i remember going into showcase and Canada nothing was striking out
but then we smelled the delicious aroma of Yorkshire Fish-
and we stopped and grabbed some


we ended up buying more
we were really enjoying just being there






It was fun to have this moment with the boys!

We did take out time strolling over. couldn't find them at first but i did find

the boys were shocked this was all back here- i told them you missed so much because you all wanted to rush from place to place!

I used to think that people screened in their pools to keep out the insects, but then I find out they do it to keep out the alligators! We've been down to Florida to visit grandparents and cousins, and the pool is always my favorite thing.

Oh I cannot agree more! I love the LIGHT everything!!!
I cannot wait to not have a basement! although in the same token it's going to be hard without the storage! I have been purging everything lately KNOWING that we will not have any storage space!
Yes. those pesky alligators, or snakes, and bugs.
Pintrest is my friend for deck ideas. I really want the pool area to be the highlight!

After Kathy left us we were right next to one of our favorites!
We jumped in line for-


We had the BEST interactions with CM's this trip- they were all so amazingly friendly and playful!!!

The queue was all over the place! the way they had you snaking around was ingenious



This is such a great ride!

It was sad to see all the little games and things closed off and not operational remembering the times of sitting in there forever letting the kids drive their cars all over..
oh the days...........

Haley was waiting for us at the exit- she had a Jofferys boozy cold brew.

the boys wouldn't even drink it.. AWFUL..


So we decided to walk on over to

Then I died.
When did this ride take a turn for the worse? We never had an issue before.

NEVER.

Oh Holy heck I had to close my eyes and make sure the vomitron was in check. I thought I was going to lose it. If we had to make a return to Earth? Just leave me here.......... to die.

We can no longer visit Mars. nope nope nope. That was my last journey.

I needed to get my sea legs back.. Matt wanted an epic picture of the dragon and the sunset so he and zack ran back over-







He was mad. it didn't capture the colors or the lines,

Then told him he had the flash on! Poor kid. he's trying.







We sat grabbed another drink and just watched and enjoyed everything!!

Tomorrow i have to take Zack in for a follow up doc appointment.
If you you are praying kind i am going to ask you to pray- I live on a pretty awesome block our block parties are legendary we really look out for one another - Our neighbor 15 year old Jada Passed away- Long story short
She had cancer we all thought she was in remission - she went in for a bone marrow biopsy to make sure she was in remission - during the procedure her little lungs filled up with fluid and she passed away

this is just horrific no one should ever lose a child its hard on everyone but her family really needs prayers right now

One of my gripes about the pandemic restrictions is that the CDC has known for ages that Covid is not transmitted by touching things, but they never strongly passed on the information. That has resulted in a huge amount of things closed or stopped or eliminated needlessly. Building the racecars is just an example of a needless restriction.

It was claustrophobia that ended the ride for me.

Girl, I tried riding the GREEN side of MS, and got SO SICK!!! I am a wimp when it comes to any sort of spinning, and that ride spins fast to simulate takeoff, etc. NOPE!

Yep! Your right!! Even before the pandemic I always had hand sanitizer after the kids would play with things or touch the rails. Just because it's common sense.
the Winnie the pooh walls for one was always my red flag double the sanitizer for that one... LOL

Good News
Zack had his doc appointment yesterday. His nose is a little crooked. nothing huge, He can breath without a problem no medical issues
the doc said he could straighten it out but he would have to do it NOW before his nose would set. Zack opted out. said it's a story starter.. So we are back to 'normal'

Busy between work and getting some crafty stuff done and out of the house.

we did run out to visit my uncle and we walked the ND campus.
It is truly beautiful-

Moving day!​

What a magnificent day at Epcot! we were TIRED! feet killing- Not wearing the right shoes.
Telling you. Newbie here..

As mentioned our Hosts were going to HS for the day. I had made plans of our own- and the Uber was to pick us up at 7ish. Alarm promptly went off at 6.
I growled at it. Didn't seem to faze it. Must be losing my touch.

Straightened out the bedding woke up the boys stumbled to the coffee machine.
It's about 6:30 and my phone goes off.
The Uber Man is almost there.

what.

Are you kidding me.

I haven't had coffee and I SAID 7! I still have a half an hour. There is NO COFFEE IN MY SYSTEM. No one likes me without coffee - hell - I don't like me without coffee.
By this time I was making some coffee which I handed off to Larry -he was up about getting ready to try for the ROTR. I RAN to look human. Not necessarily Disney ready but human

We said a hasty see you later grabbed everything-

packed up everything in the minivan and off we went to move into our new home for the next couple of days!

On out way there we saw this-

OK maybe I wasn't to miffed Mr. Uber was there that early we never would have seen it.

With no traffic to hear of at this grotesque hour on a Friday

Obviously our room was not ready. Our amazon order wasn't there yet either. So we dropped off our luggage at Bell services. Got some much needed coffee and off we went to start this adventure!

The bus depot is right at the edge of the parking lot of the main building AKA Old Port Royal . 2 minute walk-
This guy was welcoming us and drove us to our wild adventure!

How magical is THAT?

We were seated in the front of the bus to the right in the three spot.
Did the bus get smaller? I do not remember squishing in like that!

But there we were - all jumbled together! Our across the way neighbors found us funny, so we struck up a conversation they were so fun.

you know us. Making friends everywhere we go!

Donning our magic bands we skipped all the way to the turnstiles.
Ok maybe we didn't skip but in my head we did.. just go with it.



Once in Zack wanted to stop and put in his contacts..

It gave us time to appreciate this little pond


Matt was very excited over the black swan saying he had never seen one!

Or doesn't remember this pond at all. Had to remind him yet again- you guys were always so focused on running from ride to ride!!





Zack was unable to get the contacts in at this time- so we headed off -we made a right straight on through-

this kid has been going out of his mind for football to start

It did yesterday!
it was their team orientation but they were so happy.
my heart is broken since Meghan has quit Volleyball because of their coach i don't blame her. it's a favorites game and apparently she isn't one of them. So she is going to be a manager for football.
I know she will be safe with them! LOL

And i lost 10 pounds so far..
not enough to make me happy but enough to keep me going..
Watermelon has become my addiction.
