European port shuttles

Which ports have you visited with DCL that a free shuttle is provided to travel into the city center?

We did the Northern Europe (Baltic) one last summer--everything but St. Petersburg, Russia had free shuttles. So, Tallinn, Helsinki, and Stockholm had the free shuttles.

We only used the Helsinki one back to port after we had an excursion drop us off in the market square...so not sure 'where' the other shuttles let you off! Stockholm we had purchased the Stockholm card and just got on one of the HOHO buses that was right at the port. Tallinn, we had an excursion--but we did ask our guide where the free shuttle was, just in case we weren't done shopping by the meet-up time.

St. Petersburg can't really have a free shuttle so to speak. You have to be escorted there, so you either have to do a ship excursion or do one through an independent operator. Either way, you wouldn't need the shuttle.
We used an independent operator (Anastasia's Travel) as it was less expensive than the ship excursions, and we learned way more than we ever would have through a ship excursion. And we got to skip the lines (a big deal in St. Petersburg) because we had a small group.

Helsinki, Tallinn, Stockholm all had shuttles. We have never used them, so I can't tell you anything about them.

I can't remember if Amsterdam did, but it was easy to walk from the port (very close) and the trams also run close to the port. Germany did not, but that's because it was an over 2 hour train ride to Berlin.

We took the shuttle back to the port in Stockholm (walked in to Gamla Stan in the morning for the exercise. It wasn't a bad walk at all). There was a bit of a line, but it wasn't a bad wait. It picked up near the opera house. We also the shuttle in Tallin and there was less of a wait there. Pick up and drop off were right outside of the old town area. I know we took the shuttle in Helsinki, but I cannot remember where it dropped off. Close enough to walk to and from Market Square.

We had free shuttles from Marseilles because it was a non planned port stop since we couldnt tender in Villefranche. DCL provided huge buses to take anyone to the city center.
