Empress of the Seas First time

I am debating about doing a 4 night out of Miami, I have never done any cruise but Disney...

What are your thoughts on this ship and the experience

Probably wouldn't want to do this ship as my first non Disney cruise. She's only six years younger than the Big Red Boat that launched Disney's entry into cruising. No regular balcony cabins (everything with a balcony is either a Junior or regular suite), and the average cabin size is 110-120 sq. ft. She's going in for a major dry dock before being transferred from Pulmantur (where the Big Red Boat ended up) back to RCL, but she currently only has one pool, and it's on a very tiny pool deck. If you're going to try RCL out of Miami, I'd suggest Enchantment of the Seas instead - orders of magnitude nicer than Empress, but still not quite up to what you'd experience on Disney.

ANY other ship in the Royal Fleet would be better . even Majesty.
