Drive or Lyft?

We are staying at Wyndham BC and will have own car. We are early risers and want to be at parks before rope drop as going in January when hours are shorter.
should we drive or Lyft to parks? And if we Lyft, s
where is best place to get dropped off for getting into each park quickly?

The earliest way to get in is with a lyft to a walkable resort. You'll need a QS mobile order at the resort to get in.
We did that one day (DHS) and we were 3rd person in the park. We drove the other days and bc they don't open the parking lot until 45 mins before park open there were always a lot of people in the park before us.

Driving we were still able to get in well before open and knock out some early rides but its definitely a difference, and lyft from WBC was about same price as parking.

For MK, IMO, its easier to take Lyft because it will drop you off on the side of the TTC where shuttles and rideshare drop off is, and it won't necessarily matter if the parking lots are open. For the other 3 parks, it really makes no difference if you drive or take Lyft because you'll need to wait for the parking lots to open for either. Lyft is a little faster I guess since you don't have to park the car and you're dropped off possibly closer to the entrance.

As PP mentions, if you're dropped off at a walkable resort, you'll need an ADR or QS mobile order to enter the resort. For DHS, a lot of people have been getting dropped off at the Speedway across the street and walking via the pathway from there. Others have been getting dropped off at Swan/Dolphin and walking from there, as they do not require an ADR or mobile order to enter. Its about the same distance to walk from Swan/Dolphin as it is from Speedway. There's no alternative drop-off locations for AK, so might as well drive there.

We will have a car, but are using Lyft to 3 of the 4 parks. AK we will just drive. For HS, we're going to the Speedway and walking in. For EP, we have a breakfast at Ale & Compass and then are walking to the IG. For MK, we will mobile order at Contempo Cafe @ CR.

This plan worked perfectly.
-Drove to AK and got there 45min early, let in shortly after
-Lyft to Speedway and walked into HS from there 1.5hr early (we did this 2 mornings) let in around 1hr early
-Lyft to Contemporary w/mobile order for our MK day, walked over there 1hr early let in shortly after
-Lyft to Ale & Compass breakfast for EP, walked to IG and were 5th from the front of the line 1.25hr early (and ended up being 1st tapped in thanks to no stroller, lol) just under an hour early
