Do you display US flags or have red, white and blue out?

Oh great question. :) A year or so ago there was a thread about US culture and I said something like 'for the rest of the world the US portrayed as people who have the flag always and everywhere in their lives'. Someone said that this was only a small part of the population. Now we can see how many (at least on this board) fly their flag.
I have never lived in a place where it is scarce, although I am aware they exist because people seem to spend a lot of time talking about it.

It's like haunted house, people talk about them and if they exist so be it, but I ain't looking to find.

In the Netherlands, do civilians have a Dutch flag on display in many homes or is that a foreign idea to Dutch people in general?

I have a minor procedure on Thursday and can't wear pants for a few days so I wore a red/white/blue skirt to work on Friday. Does that count?

We put out on flag Friday of Memorial Weekend and leave it flying until after Veterans' Day. I replace the flag every year and take the old one to the Scouts for proper flag retirement. A few years ago a young couple moved in across from us, when I met them they told us they were both Vets from Afghanistan and really appreciated that all the homes around their new place flew the flag - made them feel welcomed.

Usually. But right now, we are supporting instate colleges. A son graduated this year, so his school's flag was out and a small yard flag.

Then the college dh, me and another son went to is doing well in baseball this year. So their flag is on the flag pole on the house, instead of Old Glory.

After baseball season, the US flag will return to both flag stands and I'll put a red white and blue door hanger out.

No and there are not a lot where I live. And I spend very little time talking about It.

Yes, we have a flag hanging from a pole on our front porch - it’s up year-round, &, at night, the porch light shines on it.

Right now, my early summer decor is out, &, in late June, I’ll put out our 4th of July red, white, & blue decor.

US flags are common around here, but, for Memorial Day weekend, you’ll see even more.

I was in the Boston Commons park today and it was just gorgeous, there was a hill completely devoted to flags in rememberance of those in the Armed Forces who lost their lives near the Soldiers and Sailors monument, it was lovely. I spotted what I could imagine were families of the fallen & hope it gives them comfort, hope my flags at my home do too.

Yes, but we did something different this year after the winter.
We have a fairly large "We Support Ukraine" yellow/blue sign
that our local sign maker gave out,
and we have US flags in the ground on either side of it.
That's in the front yard.

No, and I haven't seen too many around in the area. The town puts out a bunch on the bridge over the river, though... maybe 5 on each side? They'll put them out again for 4th of July.
