DLP at Christmas time

I am thinking of going to DLP for the Christmas Magic season this year around the middle of November.

Will it be worth going then? Will all the rides be open and what is the weather like in France at that time?

Hope someone can help me.

It would be a great time to go! The parks won't be that busy and bar some possible rides being down for maintenance or rehab (which you can never predict albeit it something springs to mind about Phantom Manor being down for sometime at the beginning of Dec....). The parade will be on, Fantillusion will be on...go for it! It will be cool, but not freezing cold like it was for my visit over New Year - you will need a good coat and pair of gloves though!!

Be aware that full Christmas season doesn't get going until early December so there will be no Christmas Market, and not all the Christmas shows will have started by then. We have been in November during Christmas Season and it was great fun - but preferred it in December when the full season is in swing.

We went around a similar time in November and loved it. All the fun of the Christmas season without the freezing cold and crowds.
Have a look at the photographs (link below) and trip reports. :)

We went in December 2004 and November 2005 and preferred November largely because it was bitterly cold in December but much milder in November. We aren't bothered about the Christmas market and the only show that doesn't start until December is le Noel de Mickey but you still have Belle's Musical Medley and Mickey's Winter Wonderland which are both great. The most important aspects for us are the Enchanted Fairytale Ceremony and Fantillusion which run from the start of the Christmas season and you get all the other goodies such as snow in Main Street, all the Christmas decorations, Santa Claus, the Christmas Parade etc. I would definitely recommend November - it's also less busy in the parks than in December so you can get on rides much quicker and generally move around the park more easily. When we went only Storybook ride was closed, which I think is on safety grounds.

Yes, all of the rides apart from Storybook ride, as Reid says, which is never open in the winter - (and Autopia, which is just never open at all!!) Everything else was open as usual.
