Dee - please add our short trip - BC Feb 27-Mar 1st - just 45 days away! We are looking forward to getting back to the Beach Club. We are doing a split stay, starting out at the Wilderness Lodge. We decided to add a couple days to our trip and a passholder discount showed up for the BC.

We decided to add a couple days to our trip and a passholder discount showed up for the BC. I would love to do the new Regatta 5K race, but I haven't run a 5K in quite a few years. Anyway, it is good to be back again, even if it is for just a couple days.

IIRC, the December discount ended a few days before Christmas (around the 21st or so) and nothing was offered again until after the New Year.Brilliant! Just wanted to ask do annual pass holders get offered discount for Christmas time? Trying to plan ahead and work out if it would e worth buying a pass for the resort discount?
The toaster and microwave are in the BC Marketplace. You can, however, request a microwave for your room, at no additional cost, but subject to availability.Hi all, just booked a Beach Club stay for September and I'm very excited! The last few years we have stayed at SSR so have got used to having a kitchenette, but at Beach Club we have a garden view room. i know there is a coffee maker, but is there also a toaster or a microwave? We usually have a quick breakfast in the room so just figuring options...! Thank you

The standard room amenities include the coffeemaker, fridge, iron/ironing board, and hair dryer.
Just spoke with the Lifeguard on duty at SAB and he said emphatically "No". SAB Yacht and Beach Club guest only.I highly doubt day passes would work.
Sitting at MCO waiting to board our flight home. We had a lovely stay at Beach Club. We were in room 1530 so right by the secret entrance and soooo close to Epcot. It was not even 5 minutes to walk to the International Gateway. Also the door to the quiet pool was right across from our room so great for those things. A bit of a walk to the lobby but no problem. On occasion we got some noise from passerbys on the sidewalk but nothing when we weren't awake already. We had requested a king bed but no luck there but the room was great regardless.
It was a lovely stay for marathon weekend! Thanks for all the help and info on this thread.
I had a fantastic stay for Marathon Weekend! I completely spaced taking pictures of my room and view though. I was in standard view room 2610. Two queens, daybed, connected to 2612 and a full balcony that overlooked the roof of the walkway to the villas. When I sat I didn’t notice the roof so not a big deal, IMO. I was just happy to be away from the pool and not overlooking the entrance due to noise. I ran Dopey so I had four very early mornings. I loved being able to take the stairs from the lobby to my room. There was a little noise from foot traffic during the day, but at night it was very quiet. Also want to mention my room had a Kuerig instead of the Cuisinart.

Yes, we have cabanas. Just verified with the CM at the entrance by HH. Construction began Monday. Location is at the corner of the crescent lake and YC paths. It appears to be relatively small from a footprint perspective but I can’t tell if it will a phased construction project.
Agreed on the timing. It’s a little chilly here now so not a lot of pool activity. Plus, it doesn’t look like a big project so would expect a quick completion.Very interesting news!!!
This really seems like a really good time to do work at the pool with the least amount of disruption.
What if you just drop the CL and book SV or GV at YC? Wouldn’t save $900, but would definitely save something. So we might be switching our YC CL room to a room at pofq. We have until January 23 to decide but it would save us $900. We’re really struggling to decide which one to go with
