We were at POFQ from Dec 18-22, and loved every moment of it. It was our first trip to WDW, and I just walked in with low expectations, and was so happy I did because everything was great. We arrived at 10:30am and I wasn't expecting our room to be ready, but the alert came to the CM while I was speaking to her that it was all set. As we're Canadian and used the Cdn ticket discount, I was expecting when we arrived to HS we would have to go Guest Relations to show our passports to get our tickets activated, but again Front Desk surprised me and said there was no need as our tickets were already activated. They also had our stroller that we rented ready for us, and whatever parcels that had shipped.
I used Touring Plans to put in a request for Building 4 and on the ground level as we had a stroller, and we got both requests. It was a standard room, technically facing the parking lot, but in reality all you could really see was the courtyard and its greenery. The room was larger than I expected and more than enough space to store our 2 suitcases, 2 carry-ons, and a double stroller. The room was clean, the beds were great, the water pressure was fabulous in the shower, and we heard no noise when we slept. It was a 30 second walk from our room to the food court, a 1 min walk to the laundromat and to the bus stop. We didn't take advantage of the pool, but it would have been a 1 min walk there too!
After we saw our room, and dropped our carry-on, we went to HS for our first park day. When we returned, our luggage was waiting for us, and Bell Services came by to drop off our groceries we purchased.
As for the bus to/from POFQ, we rarely waited more than 10 mins for our bus, and it was always empty and never shared with another resort. When we went to Epcot for its EMH morning, there was a long line up and i was seriously contemplating calling an Uber as I didn't think we'd get on the bus. We didn't, but lo and behold, TWO buses to Epcot came back to back so everyone was able to get on! And another time when we wanted to RD for MK, the wait times weren't posted on the TV screen, but there was a CM there who told us a bus was coming, and it was a DME cruise line bus that picked us all up - it was definitely a comfortable ride to our first day at MK!
All in all, I had a great time at POFQ.
Sorry for this post, it ended up being much longer than I expected!!
