Anyone know best way to get luggage to room if you self park? Will they let you borrow a luggage cart?

I want to say NO for borrowing but not sure.

I think best option is drive to checkin area. They will unload you. You go park and walk back to lobby and they escort you to the room.

However with covid I am not sure they escort you? They may just run your things up. I want to say it is a liability to lend out carts.

I always roll my own but above it what I observe while I am in that area. GF has some of the best bellmen on property! Many have been in position for decades.

Anybody do this recently???

They will let you take it if you’re staying in the villas. But as @trishadano said, the bellman in the resort are great. Always got our bags quickly after getting in our room.

Anyone have experience with any of the food delivery services at the GF? Uber Eats, Doordash, Grubhub, etc?

Wondering how long the wait times are at dinner time, if GF staff will bring it up to my room, if I have to go down to the lobby and show ID, etc.?

I'm thinking we're going to get bored of the hotel restaurant after a few days and will need to have at least 5 meals delivered. Anyone experience it at the GF?

What are everyone’s favorite cocktails from Enchanted Rose? I have been a few times and always got the Island Rose. I liked it but want to branch out to try something new on our upcoming trip. What should I try?

You do! It’s lovely—especially during “off”times when it’s not crowded. I’m so intrigued by the cocktails with tea in them but also sort of terrified of them at the same time . I’m wondering if anyone has any input on those in particular.

So excited to be Disney planning..it's been soooo long...feels strange to be waiting to book dining at only 60 days out though...especially since we've become used to 180 days..with time to tweak and tweak again...lol.....I have discovered a way though...lol..just keep tweaking before we can book...a new strategy...
Our up comming stay is a split GF and BWV (we sure do love those split stays!)..I miss the Inn and hope that it reopens soon....but that is for another thread...lol...
GADisneyDad Enchanted Rose is on our radar too....especially after the wonderful appetizer pics from @trishadono....It's always about the food for us!! Incase I've never mentioned that before...

Aww thank you so much for your kind words, I really appreciate it I agree, I don’t like to wait for 60 days to make dining! But what I do like is we can now see the park hours, and that is usually how I decide on our dining plans. Enjoy your planning!

We like sitting by the bar or near windows. ITs a nice no cl substitute.

I think that is what I'm going to keep doing - no we aren't DVC members but we are habitual point renters. Plus our niece gets the CM discounts so she's going to look closer to December to see if she has any availability.

Good luck! With all the uncertainty remaining around COVID, I feel like I keep seeing availability pop up for a handful of the resorts and the villas for random dates. I think there are a lot of folks that keep changing their plans (me being one of them) so I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you!

i am thinking about renting pool cabana for half a day at GF. Not staying at GF so we would also get to utilize the amenities there as well. Anyone ever rented one before? Is it worth it?
