Yes they are the same except for the microwave. Enjoy! I was in the new room as far back as Nov 2022. Disney is so slow to update their website.

Found out yesterday that our request (went through dvc rental store) for our November VGF stay was fulfilled! We'll be in a standard 1BR for 9 nights and we are so excited! It'll be our boys (5 and 2 at the time we travel) first trip to DW and while we were considering a few different resort options, the ability to walk to MK and the beauty of the GF won out for our first family DW trip. Planning to put in a room request to face the main building as I'd love to be able to watch the monorail come and go during our balcony downtime. Hoping the main lobby work is done by the time we travel (arriving Nov. 15) but either way, we can't wait!

Can you DM what you paid for this reservation? Would love to know, have stayed at GF many times but never on the GFV side and often hard to book on disney.com of course.

2024 Grand Cottage is Now Open! ​

The Grand Cottage is a snack stand in the lobby that sells Easter treats.

The stand is open from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. daily through April 1.

The treats can be previewed in a display case near the cottage with pricing so guests can decide what to order before they get in line.

Rumor has been that work will not begin until after Easter. I can’t imagine they will start construction with the Easter egg display and Cottage up. If anything changes, I’ll be sure to post it!

No, no rooms like that left. Disney is just incredibly and shockingly slow to update their website.

Can you see the Happily Ever After fireworks from all of the theme park view rooms? Can you hear the music? What about electric water pageant?
