Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

We are staying mid August at BWI CL. This is our first CL stay and we are super excited about it! A few nights we may just eat light and have some apps and desserts in the lounge. Is the lounge at BWI on a 2 or 3 rotation? Is there any way to find out the menu? I made some dinner reservations but thinking about it, maybe we will eat half the time at the lounge and then sit at the pool and then walk the boardwalk at night. It's just hard to know if the menu will be something our family will like, and if I should keep our adr for that day.
Most CL lounges are on a 3 day rotation and menus from my experiences rarely change. Someone from BWI CL should post what they have had now and it should be the same when you arrive.

There are some pretty recent reviews on YouTube that would show the meals and how it’s plated/presented.

For example, the bao buns aren’t as large as you’d expect if you didn’t see them. So a lot will depend on what your normal dinner portions are in addition to seeing the menu.

Go back to page 2041 of this thread -- I posted some pictures of BWI club level offerings. It was a three day rotation.

Thanks for all the info. I am "pretty sure" I kept activated the 5 magic bands from our last trip in 2018 that I am taking with us. I have plenty of other magic bands.(older) Do you think I should bring a few of those in case one of the ones that say are activated, don't work?
It doesn’t hurt. I bring a few extras because there is no rhyme or reason which work or not ?

Since you can cancel your ADRs up to 2 hours prior, I would just keep them for now. Inquire each day what they will be serving and either keep or cancel your ADR for that day.

Has anyone been successful at purchasing CL access at WL when they check in recently? If you have do you remember how much it was?
I'm going to be attempting it in a week. I know I was told yes you can back in January this year but we were already staying CL so no need to do it that time. I believe they told me it was $125 now but that I'm not 100% about

It won't matter if they are active or not active. They can fix whatever band you bring and make it work.

I have 16 active magicbands, 8 for me and 8 for my spouse. I usually bring 2 a piece with us. Both magicbands are less than 4 years old. The CL managers check them out and make sure they work. When I arrive the greeter, Tom, usually brings us up at the YC.

Anything we need to know about checking in to the YC CL in the wee hours of the morning? We just added Monday night so that we were guaranteed our room was ready no matter what time we get there Mon night/Tues morning.

I wasn't sure if it was a big deal or if we'd just likely have to go to the front desk assuming our magic bands won't work automatically (or maybe they will?). We will have done online check-in. Our bands wouldn't work the elevator last time until they fixed it.

If you are at the YC prior to 7am, I would go to the front desk for help. The CL concierge are usually on duty just before 7 am, some get there around 645 am.

I got SO much information from here when we stayed at BC CL.....any luck with a link to get to more specific information for Chronos Club??? TIA!

Years ago, our bands automatically worked in the elevator. But last 2 years, they haven’t worked for that until they get set. So I’d say, plan on stopping at the front desk to get that done. One of the CMs even told me they changed things so they won’t automatically work anymore.

We were told about 10 years ago, before bands actually, back in the day of key to the world cards, that your access type, whatever it is, doesn’t work the elevator until you’ve entered your room. Unless manually set by the staff. We stay so much at Boardwalk we don’t test it out enough to verify this. I know we almost always need to have the fix whatever band we bring to enter inn keepers area. If I were arriving when the desk isn’t staffed I’d stop at the front desk for sure nothing I hate more than trekking to the elevator and or room only to find out I can’t get in.

We normally stay at YC. Until the last 2 years we were able to access the elevator without our bands getting fixed. And you have to access the elevator to get to your room there. So that did not hold true for us at YC. A CM even admitted you used to be able to operate the elevator without stopping at the desk. But that it was changed recently so now you have to stop & get your bands set. I assume to better control access to the CL floors, which is fine with me.

And at YC & BC, you can’t get to the CL desk if you can’t access the elevator. So you have to go to the front desk or get an escort to the CL floor of its within their hours. There would be no trekking to the room without the band getting fixed, because you can’t even get there.

Last summer we got to the BWI around 3/330 AM. We did online check in and went straight to our rooms. Our bands worked on that door by the desk and we had no issues getting to our room. I can't remember any of our other stays.
