Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

@trishadono , so nice to “see” you!!! It has been too long! I did not realize that you had been to AKL recently, thank you so much for the info! I am pretty sure I remember which one was Francisco and I will be on the lookout for him! I somehow totally missed the fact that the rooms and lounge are on different floors so thank you for telling me, before I got there and thought we somehow had gotten screwed and got a bad room, lol. We are in a two bedroom suite, and I have a bad feeling those rooms are reeeeeally far from the lounge. I think I read it once on a blog post or something, but I’m afraid to even google it to see whether I am remembering correctly. We stayed there (non- CL) in 2009 and I def remember how long those hallways are. But I agree with you, it is such a really lovely resort, and we are thrilled to be going back. It is all that dd wanted for her college graduation gift, and this was her escort pick, so I am excited for it to be really special for her. Our last trip there was on her 9th bday! Oh, and I appreciate the tip to look for the animals after feeding! We will for sure!

@petrola , thank you so much for typing all of that info out! My “kids” are adults but they will be very excited about the mickey bars!! Perhaps not as excited as they will be for the booze, but hey. :rotfl2: Thank you especially for the tip about the busy times in the morning. I think we are going to try to do early mornings, so hopefully we will be at the lounge before 8, and your info gives me even more incentive to make sure that we are. I really dislike when you’re trying to get out on the morning and can’t get breakfast seating. It happened to us many years ago at BC basically every morning and it was really a bummer. The hallways there were also long, and carrying food back to the room for breakfast just was not my thing.

I got online and also called. 1.5 hours on the phone and done but my online queue still shows at least 40 minutes. Maybe calling would be faster. I just hung up.
I called earlier for one! I’m just busy and can’t commit to being able to answer a phone now. 🤔😤🙄😂

Our friend let her pass expire and was up and on the computer at 6am sitting in a queue till around 10:30am. Someone posted this number 407-939-7679 earlier in the day and I passed it on to her and she was on with someone within 10 minutes! Hopefully you can get through quickly too. Despite the trek, the GW CL’s look like really nice rooms. I think at least one of them is really close to the main building too.
It looks massive, too! I told her that I’ll pay but get the bedroom 😂!!
I had the hospitality suite once. It is close to the lobby -ish. I did not mind the walk , my guys were lazy and only went for breakfast and appies. I had to fetch cookies n milk etc during the day and evening. I really don’t mind though. I love running around the resort vs sitting in the room.
I’ll be happy to run back n forth! Was it you that said they gave you wine bottles to bring back? Maybe that’s just my wishful thinking;).

I was so tired yesterday I woke up this morning and had to check my email to see if I bought it last night😅

The rules are nuts. You have to activate within 1 year then it expires. However the $ you paid can applied to another ticket. You won’t be able to see the ticket and have to call and beg forgiveness for your lapse.

We did lose a 2 day ticket in 2021. I forget to change the date of ticket when we changed a trip to a later date.🙄

AP is nice because it helps justify paying for CL!

If you are going at a peak time your multi day tickets would cost so much anyways might as well get an AP.

How much we save at shops and food! It adds up!

One week until my next trip! I’m packed and ready to go!

This is the most annoying thing about the AP.
 
We were also at WL CL this week. Food and service were good, but we have decided we prefer the offerings at YC. DH missed the ice cream freezer especially.

We also had a king room that we had never had before and have decided that the risk of getting this room again would be a deal-breaker for booking WL CL again. It was 7095, one of the two rooms across the lobby from the lounge. OUTSIDE of the CL gates, so you need to navigate the locked gate to access the lounge. Noisy, crappy view. Can clearly hear all the Whispering Canyon chaos and every screaming kid in the lobby. Solid balcony overlooking various roof sections with a glimpse of the bus stops and driveway when you stand up. And no overhang so you don’t even have the benefit of the shade. And inside the room, the table and two chairs are wedged in beside the bed due to the placement of the balcony doors, so you’ve got a huge open space between the foot of the bed and the tv, and a skinny path beside the bed for the person on that side. It would be a great room for someone with an ECV or a toddler in a pack and play, but all others should be aware of this room.

My family agrees. Loved the resort, view from the lounge over the lobby, and CMs were nice, but they didn't care for the food overall (they always go to evening apps). They still prefer BWI, YC and the other MK resorts.

Maybe? It’s hit or miss. However reach out to DSS via phone or email if you have any requests. The rooms can and be scattered throughout the resort for CL so if want same floor as lounge , request one.

We almost lost tickets multiple times. It was time consuming. The originals were no expire (as long as we never used them). The replacements expire eventually.

The most recent time, we just happened to catch it because a CM asked to see our AP, and instead of pulling out the plastic card (as I had done every other time), I just happened to open MDE instead. As it happens MDE showed the ticket first, and I saw "no days left" on a 5-day ticket.

While I was waiting in GS....I saw a 2nd ticket had ALSO been 'used' even though we had AP's, and I had asked to have the AP's prioritized before we used them to enter the park.

The above was not my mistake, and it took 90 minutes in GS. That put a significant wrench in our plans. For all of that, the CM gave us 1 G+pass, and the kind that excludes some attractions. It was rather stressful thinking $1,000+ had just evaporated!

The 'replacement' tickets are now purely in virtual-land. The only way to get them is via GS, but I was told we could call to have them activated.

IF ANYONE HERE already had PARK RESVATIONS BOOKED using a PARK TICKET- you MUST CANCEL THEM if you bought an AP and do not want to lose the ticket.

NOW: The media that you used to BOOK your PARK RESERVATIONS is the NOW the media that gets used when you enter the park, or so I was told.

The other way to protect older tickets is to assign them to a "Place Holder" in the name box, if MDE allows you to re-assign them.
