Yes, they called us a month before and then again a week before. Upon arrival a Cast Member will escort you to Club Level, such a welcoming touch!

I’ve heard of front desk CMs helping guests with BGs for Rise and Remy, so I imagine the CL would be able to help if they weren’t busy. By help, I mean take your phone and/or walk you through the process. They have no special passes they can dole out. They will be vying for the same spots as everyone else and may not be able to secure a spot for you. It’s the same with ADRs; they can certainly look for you, but I was told they are looking at the same pool of reservations that you and dining are and have no special pull to secure hard to get reservations. I believe the desert parties do pop up every now and then; I had an alert set up on a dining site and got one for April, but we had decided not to stay late at MK that night, so I chose to ignore it; I have no idea if it would have still been there if I’d clicked on the link.
The succinctly-told story behind that is that people used to complain up on the top floor there about the obstructed Savannah views…the units look out over the very end of one Savannah and this is further blocked by Boma’s roof. The other side is a pool view, where if you squint you can see some flamingoes. People who were put here did not feel that they should pay as much as those who had the true savannah views on the 4th floor and such. The decision was made to convert to DVC since the floor below is all DVC units anyway. The problem is, of course, that you can’t block access to that floor for those who are actively staying on it, so access to the lounge had to be folded in to those (very few) DVC units.
Dessert Parties are refundable. We've canceled them several times. Once booked, they even have cancel buttons just like any ADR do.

Well, RPC's always been a "bucket list" item for me. I guess the time has come - I'd better get hunting for a night or two with a discount!
