Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

Thank you for all of this! We booked our trip a few days ago for Sugar Loaf (first time there) for mid June and these pics are extremely helpful. One question though - are there advantages/disadvantages to the dormer rooms (I really don't know what they are)?

I’ve had both dormer and non-dormer rooms at SL. I’m team no-dormer, FWIW! :goodvibes

I think I'm with you. I love sitting on the balcony in the morning with my 3 yo DGD and the open style will be much better for her to be able to see what's going on outside.

@trishadono thank you for the balcony pics!
I prefer non dormer myself but the 2 times I got one we got it at 11am and after leaving for airport at 3am we decided an early room was priority.

You are welcome! I changed my SL to RPC yesterday. DD 25th is a good excuse lol.

All the std rpc rooms have a nice full balcony!

I didn't tell her of upgrade so she will be surprised when she arrives around 5p. We wont get there til close to 11p.

She is gonna be a good girl and get mom a wine , cupcake and snacks for may late arrival :goodvibes Imay just sit in the lounge a bit before going to bed. It is just so lovely up there. SO lucky we were able to make this work.:flower1:

She's going to love it and I hope you have a wonderful trip! Our trip is still about 3 months away but I wish I was on my way down now! Getting very excited to enjoy SL!

So question I arrive GF on Tuesday. Do you guys make room requests for the main building or do you just see what is assigned to you upon check in. If you do make requests how far in advanced do you make that request.

What category? Std, deluxe king, TPV?

TPV I dont becuase they all kind of the same. Std I do.

One wall 4x23-28 has view of poly and a wet bar.
4x13-18 faces courtyard and doesnt have the wetbar.

Although I would not refuse any of those, all wonderful.

My only no thanks is 4201 a deluxe king on the end and every CM coming into work can see you lol.

Oh I made mine yesterday for today. I know it lowers chances but if you have a preference and let them know they will at least try.

I email DSS to do mine.

We have a Standard. Not even sure what to request and we get there pretty earlier so not sure room will even be ready even if we do request something. That's what happened when I went to POFQ last rooms in the building I requested wasn't cleaned on time. The only difference is we can hang out in the lounge till it is ready this time. Just want something the 3 of us will like for the one night.

I noticed the price increase too! I had been searching July 16-19 and originally kept seeing a sun &fun offer for those dates which disappeared with the price increase. I have a feeling there will be another summer discount though and feel like they normally raise the rack prices when they do that. I could be wrong though.

Honestly std view all close to lounge and all have a full balcony. Take what is available 1st and enjoy!!!

Dd arrived via ME around 5p and WAS met and escorted up to RPC in GF.

I prefer 4x23-28 and did get one room there. Room ready text didn’t hit until she arrived at hotel.

Text From dd:

“MOM WE ARE IN THE MAIN BUILDING!!”

Yes dear, Happy Birthday from Mom and Dad , surprise!

We stuck at airport with a delay arriving MCO around 11;30p . At least I’ll be sleeping there tonight!

Ugh, delays are the worst, I hope you get there soon. Happy birthday to your daughter!

Has anyone had a recent experience with CR Atrium Club? I have only been once (last August) and to be honest, I was not impressed with the offerings they had. I hope this is a one off experience as my experiences at BC were much more favorable.

I'll be there for my first CR stay in a couple weeks, I'll try to remember to take some pics of offerings! (I'm the worst at that though be aware, I almost never remember until it's the end of dessert lol. I get distracted easily at Disney, the Disney bubble is my happy place and CL? I just melt into my happy mode!)

CR does not have the most options, I did enjoy the soup each evening and the cheese, olives and sometimes dark cherries mixed in are all yummy.

I have found the staff more attentive. I have been given full case of water and full bottle of wine 3 times. No other cl has done this,

I would tell them what was going on and they offered to help.

One trip we in Hospitality suite with cl access, one trip DH and Ds flight canceled and they had to crash my mom n me alone time with dd.

Last trip I asked for water bottles because dd drinks many. The cm remembered me from other trips and carried a case to my room.

@GADisneyDad14 will agree, cm’s remember you and try to make you feel special. I’d go more often but hard to get a room let alone at a discount,

They have water bottles? That would be nice! I love a good staff. Even if the offerings are mediocre a good staff can make all the difference.

So excited! Just booked BC CL for our summer split stay trip! Tell me all the wonderful things about BC CL please!

1. Location
2. Coffee Cake at breakfast
3. Location
4. Ice Cream Fridge
5. Location

Also now that it's open 24/7 it's nice to always have someplace you can go if you need a break from your room but don't want the distractions the lobby entails.

I'm about a week and a half away from the last trip of my Annual Pass. I used to haunt the CL thread leading up to my trip but, gah! LIFE!!! (Y'all bought your 10 packages of Costco toilet paper and 20 cases of Costco water bottles all ready right? :rotfl2: ) Just reading a bit here I'm getting even more excited for my upcoming trip! I've got a GD CL/CR CL split. I've done GD CL and fell in love and cannot wait to return. CR will be a new one. The only MK resorts I've stayed at are Poly and WL and the refurb on WL made me go look up prices but there was no availability so... CR and awesome MK view from the Lounge it remains!

Hi! We are planning for a February 2021 trip with our 3 kids who will be 10, 7, and 5 when we go. We want to stay Club Level and we're trying to decide between a Boardwalk Deluxe CL Room or a Wilderness Lodge Deluxe CL Room. BW is our clear winner based on location, because it would be great to just be able to walk so many places...but my concern is that I'm not sure I'll like the decor. It seems like it's been a long time since it was updated and I'm worried I'll be really frustrated about paying so much for a rundown hotel room. But, maybe the environment is so wonderful that it feels fresh and I'll love it! Wilderness Lodge would be a guaranteed win on decor because I like the new refresh, but we've stayed there before (loved it, but I wanted to try something new on this next trip), and transportation is more of an issue.

What do you think? Does the CM kindness and location of Boardwalk overcome the outdated rooms, or is the fresh update at Wilderness Lodge enough to make the location worthwhile.

I know you said you’ve stayed at WL before, but have you stayed in a WL Deluxe room before and are you familiar with the locations of those rooms?

The rooms are not rundown
That doesn’t mean you like the decor but to answer you, I would indeed pick BW over WL
10 times out of 10. I just came home from WL yesterday and while I was perfectly happy there I still prefer BW in every way. I especially didn’t like the way WL closes their doors to get ready for next service. Can’t even get a beverage

Sounds like a great trip! We had our first CR CL stay this past December and it was great! The view from the lounge can't be beat and the CL CMs were absolutely amazing!! Hope you have a great time :wizard:.
