Just FYI that southwest easily refunds points or money when the rates drop. I just had that happen for my October flights and I was able to easily process the refunds on my app.

This only applies for Disney World. Disneyland the VQ will still be in place for now.

That will be one looooong line. This may exert some upward pressure on IA$.
AND....this means that NO ONE will be on any of the other rides in HS, since they'll all be in this line! That will be one looooong line. This may exert some upward pressure on IA$.

SCORE!
No need to open more entertainment options when they use the ROTR line as a people eater.Yeah. I'll be getting there EARLY to be at the front of the Rope-Drop pack, then the day is free and open!
This was my thought as I was reading it. The only way to ride is what I assume will be a very long line or pay to skip that. I mean, it makes me consider paying for it when we go and I ridden it twice at DL.They're going to do this so that people are willing to pay $20 a person to not stand in those lines. They know exactly what they're doing.

YES!! and that 30-min early entry will certainly come in handy to the hotel guests that qualify!!Yeah. I'll be getting there EARLY to be at the front of the Rope-Drop pack, then the day is free and open!

I agree completely. While I love it I was soured by how many times it broke down on me the last trip in August it is no longer a must-do for me.AND....this means that NO ONE will be on any of the other rides in HS, since they'll all be in this line!

People would have paid anyway when they didn't get a boarding group - lots of peopel got shut out every day! This wil make the advantage more visible though, but overall I think it's a good change. I hated the VQ process!
