Disney Fantasy Cruise November 8th - 15th 2014 ... here we come!

Probably the easiest way is to PM me your name if you don't want to post it here. I would add you as an FB friend then add you to the group.

Why do you have it set where everyone has to become your personal Facebook friend in order to join the group? It is possible to have a "closed" group where individuals submit a request to join, without "friending" you personally. Since everyone still has to PM you with their real/Facebook name, you'd have the same right of approval or not, but people would not have to friend someone they don't know in order to join the cruise group.

I realize you specifically chose to set it up that way, but wondered if there was a particular reason. YOU can not add people who are not your friends, but THEY should be able to REQUEST to be added, unless you designated it for your friends only.

I didn't "set it" that way. If people want to request to join, that's fine too. This is the only way I've done it before. Actually, if people requested to join the group, I wouldn't need them to also PM me their name.

Again, I did not choose to set it up that way. I just chose to set it as a closed group due to issues I've had with other cruise groups that became a free for all etc. with people adding people who were not even on our cruise, that some of the group didn't know etc.

I'm sorry if you don't like the way I formed the group, but I volunteered to do it and was happy to do it. No one has requested to join the group but those who are interested have become my FB friend as that is the only way I knew how to do it.

If I receive any requests to join the group I would of course accept them (assuming they are actually on the cruise).

Hello Everyone! DH and I just got off the Fantasy on Saturday! We had an amazing time and booked this cruise for next year!!! Was so much fun to meet everyone in person and spend a bit of time together!
Can't wait to get on board again! Only 390 days!!!!

Ok, so I logged into FB as my DH and I couldn't find our group either..weird. I think that is part of the issue with people trying to request to join it! LOL..

I'm not sure why, anyone have any idea?

I was not complaining about how you formed the group, and I'm sure everyone appreciates you doing so. I was only curious about your request that everyone ask to be your friend in order to join, as I have only seen a few groups that people have set up that way.

If a group is set as "Secret" it will not show up in search. A "Closed" group will, provided people know the name of the group to search for. Since I have been unable to even locate the group, I assumed it was both "secret" and "friends only." I apologize for any misunderstanding, but when I can't find the group, I certainly can not request to join.

Again, it wasn't my request, it was the only way I knew how to set it up as that is how I set up the other group I'm in.
The group is not set to "secret". So, I don't know why it can't be found in a search.

Hi everyone! I have been away from the DIS and was just reading over some of the latest posts. I copied the name given for the FB page and could not find it...then I saw the link to the page that was posted..,..The correct page name has the year in it...I think that is why people are not finding it because the original post did not list the year.

Well its official we are booked for this cruise myself Leslie, dh Terry and grandson Logun whom will be 10 at time of cruise. Cabin 6188 so please add us to the fe list, will be booking my stepson and his family on this cruise as well in the next couple of weeks, they have 2 little ones 3 and 2 at time of cruise, and also 2 co workers joining us so once I have cabin numbers will post them for the fe list.

here are the names for the fe list 2 adults, Alan and Mary, 2 infants, London 3 at time of cruise and Daxton 2 at time of cruise. Next cabin will be 2 adults , Kathleen and Nicole, once I have the stateroom numbers I will post them to be added for the list. Thanks! Cant wait for Nov 2014!

Hi everyone! I just booked this cruise today, it will be me, dh, dd who will be 5 almost 6 at the time, and ds who will be 3. This is our second disney cruise and we're very excited for it. Can someone tell me what FE list is and what its purpose is?

its like a secret santa basically if you join in you purchase little gifts for each cabin joining in, on the little fish hook holder outside the cabin door is where you would hang your fe which is some kind of bag to hold all your gifts you would recieve, kind of like a shoe bag hanging, most people make their own and if you check out this forum search for fe and you will see pics of some. some people buy for each person in the cabin and some opt to buy just 1 gift per cabin, its totally up to you, gifts that are given range from anything like magnets, highliters for marking on the navigator,pirate stuff for pirate night like tatoo sheets , candy etc really anything at all it doesnt matter something small and not expensive or something homemade, up to you. its alot of fun for all who join, at some point you just deliver all the little gooodies to each cabin on the list, usually at any time you choose to do it during the cruise. its fun to come back to your cabin and find a little surprise left in your fe bag, check out a thread on fe and you get alot of info on it. hope this helps!
