I really wanted to go last year, but our trip that week was already jam packed so we passed (totally regret that), so I'm pumped that it's once again falling during our trip this year! I've been wanting to go, so this looks like the year!

Like others, wondering if we can enter/leave through International Gateway for the Epcot after hours party. We'll be at the YC so that would be super convenient for us.

Will buses be available to leave the After Hours party before it ends? I'm hoping to stay for the whole thing, but I'm not as young as I used to be and wonder if someone will find me asleep on a park bench.

Question for those in the know. Last year I think I remember a discount for first responders and teachers, has there been any mention of that for this year's event?

Curious what time the events normally start/end each day. Also, for the party, will we have to wait until 10:30 to enter the park or will we be granted earlier access? I'm a planner and trying to figure out sleep/nap schedules as well lol

Big news, everyone! The EPCOT After Hours Party has made a switcheroo…instead of being centered around riding Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, it’ll be centered around riding Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind! Party ticket holders will be receiving an email with all of the details.

I just got my ticket for the after hours party. Unfortunately, I cannot make any other event during the weekend, because I am just getting into Florida the day before. I was excited about the party being held at Remy's, but now that it has changed to Guardians I am REALLY excited. I hope to see some friends that I haven't seen in a while and meet up with some new people.

In past after-hour events, we met at the main entrance and the cast members escorted us to the event. I don't think you'll be able to use the International Gateway (I don't think it will be manned).

Hi all! Long time lurker, first time posting and first time attending a DIS event! I'm so excited, especially about the update to the EPCOT event!!

I have a few questions about the EPCOT party

If we're in the park, what do we do or where do we go in between park close and the start of the event? Anyone planning to watch Harmonious together?

What will transportation be like after the event? I don't want to miss a bus if I get in line at 12:29am for a last ride on Cosmic Rewind LOL.

I'm excited - just bought my tickets to both convention days and the Guardians after party at Epcot !!

So I was able to move things around and fly out to Florida for DisCon!!! We did the podcast cruise and OMG was that fun!!! I’m soooooo pumped!!!!! Hubby can’t go so I will be flying solo. I would LOVE to meet up with other DIS and GKTW fans that will be there so if there are any meet ups at a bar ….drinks are on me!!

Hello, everyone! I hope that everyone is doing well and getting excited for DIS Con! I hunted down a few answers for you, so I wanted to pop in and update you. Here goes…

*Regarding the question as to whether or not guests will need to clear the park before the 10:30pm After Hours Party start time, at this time, you’ll need to proceed to the front of the park in order to leave before reentering for the party. That being said, in-park check-in options are being explored for those who are already in EPCOT. But that’s the answer at this point.

*If you need to get in line for one last ride on Guardians, you will not miss the bus. We completely understand wanting to get that last ride in, and we’ll be sure that everyone gets back to their resorts at the end of the night.

*That leads us to the question as to whether or not buses will be available to take someone back to a Walt Disney World resort before the end of the party, and the answer is yes. If you’re too pooped to party, a bus will get you back to your Disney resort.

*The official DIS Con event schedule will be out soon, but for those who have asked how late the convention evenings will go because other plans are being made, each day will end around 6:30pm.

*The International Gateway will not be available for use after the party, but bus transportation will be available for those staying at Disney resorts, including those in the BoardWalk area. As mentioned back in April, the Skyliner will not be available.
