Different port arrival times

Long story but two of the members of our party of 9 waited until 12 days before the cruise to do the online checkin. They have a port arrival time of 1:45 PM and the rest of us have 11 AM. We are all on the same private van service from Pop Century. Will they let them in the terminal with us or do you think we will have an issue? Thanks for any advice.

They will likely be allowed in. However, you don't have to arrive at 11am, just because that's your PAT. You could wait for them or even change your PAT to more closely match theirs.

They will probably be allowed in at 11 unless the terminal is very full but they will get a boarding number based on their PAT time so will most likely have a longer wait to board.

Open boarding(time everyone can board) usually begins sometime between 12 and 12:30, so they can board then, no need to wait until 1:45.

While every one should adhere to their PATs, they are rarely enforced at the door. DCL understands that plans change and that special circumstances can explain not following the PAT. As long as most guests respect their arrival time, the process will function properly. If you all show up together at the check-in counter, the CM might issue a single boarding number to everyone in your group.

I would aim to arrive around 12/12:30. The crowds in the terminal have mostly boarded, and you can board at “open boarding.” Plus this is the sweet spot between the early crowds and before the buses from the resorts begin arriving.
