Cruise travel insurance

I just booked a Disney cruise and used points for the entire reservation. Can I buy travel insurance for that cruise, or did I have to do that at the same time that I booked? Thanks.

I am not sure how the insurance though Disney works for cruises booked through DVC, but for cruises paid in "cash," you can purchase insurance up until the Final Payment date.

DVC has an insurance plan that covers a full use year for $99. I can't tell from a quick scan whether that would cover issues arising before or during a cruise. You could call Member Services to find out.
