Columbus weekend crowds

I have read that the crowd levels at Disney are quite high Columbus Day weekend. Should I assume that is the case for Universal as well? We have traveled to Orlando the last week of October the past two years and felt the crowds at Disney and Universal were quite manageable/enjoyable. Thinking of going earlier in Oct this year. Plan to stay on sight at Universal to take advantage of “free” express pass...hoping this will help navigate higher Columbus Day crowds. Thoughts?

You are going to be there during HHN so there will be more people staying on sight because of HHN. If you are staying at RPR, PBH or HRH you will have the Unlimited EP so you should be fine.

Remember Universal Studios closes at 5pm on the nights that HHN is held. IOA stays open later on those nights.

HHN is held on Wednesday thru Sunday. With exception some Wednesdays not included when it first opens about the last 2 weeks of September.

The calendar of HHN dates will come up on The Universal Orlando Website this summer. This is a separate ticketed event and it’s fantastic.
