Christmas party and severe weather?

We have tickets to Dec 9 Christmas party. The weather is predicting severe weather/heavy thunderstorms, what are the chances we can change to a different night? There are 3 more party nights next week so hoping we can switch.

That's not usually a reason that they'll let you change your tickets. Never hurts to ask, since the worse they can do is say no but I wouldn't count on it.

We were able to change a halloween party night because my youngest felt sick and wanted to go back to the room. We went to guest services at city hall before the party started and she switched our night. It's not a guarantee but it wont hurt to ask.

If you do end up going and it rains, be sure to ask about alternate locations for character meets. If they aren't as visible, the lines are way shorter.

If you go and elements are cancelled (shows, parade, fireworks) stop by Guest Services before leaving. It's not unusual for them to offer tickets to another night, or single day park tickets in that case.
