Checking in at port w big group

We are checking in at POM tomorrow with a large family group and two people from different households are sharing a stateroom. Do they have to check in together or can they each check in on their own if they arrive at different times? Thanks!

Is this correct? I am sharing a stateroom with two others from different household and I thought we all had to check in together. It would be such a relief if we could do it separately (they are flying in and using Disney Transport; I am driving).
