I'm not a country music fan. At all. But dang, I'll stop and listen to those ladies any day.I also adore Patsy and Dolly and I'd add Loretta.

Heaton. Not sure why she's on the list and I'm not even 100% sure who she is. I think she was on Everyone loves Raymond but I have never watched a full episode through. So don't hold me to that. Never watched anything she's been on.
There are SO many I dislike, especially now that they aren't shy about expressing their political beliefs ...and disparaging/mocking the half of their audience which holds other views.
I can't believe you don't think Kanye and Jay-Z aren't gifted though. Kanye is an annoying a--, but he is gifted. Jay-Z has never touched anything that wasn't fantastic.
I know they may not technically be "celebrities" but U2 is huge on my list. I am and always have been a huge fan, but in 2005 I went to a concert and they were so nasty about George W Bush. Granted I didn't always agree or disagree, but all I wanted them to do was shut up and sing. I don't pay $$$ to listen to you be nasty about people, so I took a long break. So, Joshua Tree was, and is my favorite all time album. This year was the 30th anniversary. So, I give in and bought general admission tickets for their concert in Indy. My sister and I stood for 5 hours to get in and another 4 hours for the concert. It was another hate the current president, lecture about love and hate, and just a huge political rally. I wasn't there to agree or disagree. I was there to hear their music and enjoy a beautiful night with the roof open at Lucas Oil Field and we were lucky to be about 6 feet from the stage. I was disgusted. Shut up and sing. I may or may not agree with your politics, I didn't want a lecture, I just wanted to hear the music.
The funny thing is the best concert I have ever been to is Elton John with just his piano in Las Vegas, he just sang for almost three hours. perfect.
I also cannot stand anyone preaching to me about what they think is good for "middle America" when they have all the money in the world, rant over! Burn me away!
Taylor Swift received criticism for NOT coming out & endorsing a presidential candidate, &, while I don't like everything about her, I respect her more for not getting political.
Like others have mentioned, I don't care if others have different viewpoints than I do. It's the blatant disrespect & ridicule & the active spreading of hate/******* w/ which I take issue.
Not liking the genre is entirely different from a general dislike/hatred of hundreds of unnamed persons.Kidding aside, I simply cannot stand country music.
Or perhaps the other way around? Country is one of the music types that initiated and influenced pop https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pop_musicFor one thing, it all sounds the same, and in many ways it's indistinguishable from pop.
"Ticks", "Online", "Ten Rounds with Jose Cuervo" (not beer), "One Piece at a Time", "Dang Me", "Weed with Willie", "I'm Gonna Miss Her", "Celebrity"...For another thing, the lyrics are all about god and soldiers and small towns and trucks and beer
Many, many, many people in a wide, wide, wide variety of careers, jobs, and fields like more than a single genre of music. Plus, it's what fit in the lyrics - not an all-encompassing list.and I'm like "What, plumbers and farmers and factory workers can't like jazz or classical or whatever? Executives, doctors, lawyers, and writers aren't allowed to like country music?"
I'm assuming it's probably because Patricia Heaton is pro-life.

Any celebrity that goes on a political rant. It may be that they have a forum but when someone is paying to hear someone sing or act, they don't want a political rally. Same with award shows Hold a rally somewhere else on your own time for those who want to hear it.
Tom Cruise for the fact he hasn't seen his daughter in years and keeping his other kids away from Nicole
Women on the view
Sheryl on The Talk
That's a shame. Agree or not, Bono is one of those celebrities who seems to walk the walk and I always respected that. But, it sucks that he turned a concert into a hate fest. He seems so respectful in interviews, but I guess that's not always the case.
These celebrities are simply using their platforms to stand up for what they believe in. If I had the chance to make an impact on the world because people listen to me, I'd take it too.
I don't know who specifically is spreading hate and *******, so I can't comment on that.
Their "platform" is performing. If they have a political opinion it should get no more play than yours or mine. When they express an opinion, they have PR people and the media to report it. Their "impact" a lot of the time is ignorant, extreme statements because what we have to deal with is something they don't. Remember, these are multi-millionaires who aren't too concerned about the implications of what they think they're standing up for. Quite a few barely, if, finished high school and a lot couldn't answer simple questions about how the government operates, so I'm not giving their opinions the time of day.
I happen to like Patricia Heaton. She's a successful actress who speaks her faith and has been married for years to the same man and has raised from all I hear 4 successful sons who, unlike a lot of celebrities kids, aren't drug using problem children.
DH can't stand Stephen Colbert. I personally can't stand Al Franken, who was questionably elected, but never would have been if he wasn't on SNL. He's extremely rude. As for "celebrities", I have no use for the Kardashian's and their circle. Talk about no value added.
