Disney does not require prepayment or deposit for port adventures, and they count the cabana as a port adventure.

When I got one, they were sold out at first and about three weeks before our cruise one popped up and I grabbed it. Great experience.

You don't have to pay anything when booking...it is charged to your stateroom account when you actually use it.
