Car Rental

We are tossing around the idea of staying either at the AKL or the Boardwalk Inn during on next stay next June. If we wanted to rent a car for just a day during our stay, can anyone tell me how we would go about doing this from either resort??

We rented our car from National rental. We had it for the whole trip, but we picked it up from the Dolphin. We took the bus to the Boardwalk and then walked to the Dolphin to pick it up. They are having some great rates right now, you might want to consider booking it for the whole trip, especially if you are staying at the AKL. We stayed there in October and were glad we had the car. We have a DS 14months who would not have lasted on Dis Trans. We also had the opportunity to get snacks and sodas from Wal-Mart, because we had the car.

Alamo also has a car rental at the Dolphin so you can try them to see what kind of rates they have.

If you are a Disney Club member, both Alamo and National offer refunds.

My mother just booked a car from Alamo (pick up at Dolphin; drop off at Airport) for the remainder of her trip. Her first four days will be at Disney then she is driving down to Naples to visit a friend. She got a much better deal with Alamo. This is for a Jan trip.
