We are spending a few days in Orlando in mid-February. At the end of the trip we would like to go to Kennedy Space Center and are thinking of staying two nights. We are looking at the Hilton Garden Inn Cocoa Beach or Homewood Suites. Would appreciate any thoughts... thank you!

I have stayed at both. The first question I would ask is do you want to spend time on the beach? The HGI is right on the beach. The HW is not, and isn’t really walkable to the beach either. HW is near the port, which is great for watching the cruise ships coming and going up close, although you can see the ships from HGI at more of a distance. The HGI has a restaurant on property, and the HW does not, although they do have breakfast and an evening reception. The HW will have kitchen facilities, but the HGI only has a microwave and small fridge.

They are both good properties but different. Both are a short drive to KSC.

Thank you! This might be a tough decision both options sound good but leaning toward the beach. :) Any other hotels you would recommend over these?
