I had a very interesting time trying to figure out how you "smoked" a turkey (more so how you could) and had a picture of a great big turkey being held to your mouth. I was so confused!

after being down most
of yesterday, if not all
of yesterday...

Yet I'm not seeing almost
any of my photos here.

To say I'm a bit annoyed
is a rather large understatement.

I had just bitten the bullet
and paid them for a year
of service because I didn't
want to have to go back
to all my TRs and change
all my photos over to some
other hosting site.

And now... well, who knows.
Either they're all gone for good,
and I'm going to have to try
and figure out which photos
go where or... scrap the whole thing.


Yeah... annoyed.

Hoping they'll still come back.
But just have no way of knowing.

The cook points and says

I take a look and... they look okay.
I take one.

I take a couple of bites...
mmm... not bad.

Then I stop.

I take it back to the cafeteria
and say. "Is that romaine?"
"Yes." I'm told.
"Don't you know you're supposed
to throw out all romaine in Canada
and the US?" I ask.
"What? No. When did this happen?"



Shouldn't a place serving food know that????

I'm sure the percentage of people in North America who have eaten romaine and not gotten sick is very high though, so hopefully you won't have any trouble. Thankfully, at least now they will be educated. Sending positive vibes your way for good health!

who got sick.
With only 13 hospitalized.

I'm just doing two turkey breasts. Unfortunately, my smoker isn't very big, so it's hard to fit a whole bird in there. Plus, everything I read says you should "butterfly" the turkey when smoking it, and it definitely wouldn't fit if I did that. The obvious solution is to get a bigger smoker.

This morning I heard on the news that not only are you supposed to get rid of Romaine, but you're supposed to thoroughly wash the place in your refrigerator where it was stored!

We’ve had 19 cases up here I believe.
But none west of Ontario.

They think it may have originated
in California.
