I know this has been asked many times but the search feature isn't working!

I wanted to use my AMEX to purchase Disney Dollars at World of Disney when we first arrive. Is this possible?

Also, if you don't use up your DD, can you exchange them for cash?

Thanks! :flower:

I just bought mine from a local Disney Store.

If unused you can exchange them for real cash at a booth within the park.

No exchanges on your local store.

Enjoy.

I did. Gave some as Christmas gifts. Kept some :flower:

Once you've bought them - you can't exchange them back as far as I know..... but they never go bad! :teeth:

Actually if you go to the Bank of Main St. they will give you USD back without a receipt.

Buying DDs is also a way around the insane ATM fees.

That's what I was told to.

No returns on any Disney Stores except at the Park.

I think it's sponsered by Union Bank of CA and I think the people working there are tellers from that bank.

At the bank you can cash checks (they verify funds first), and you may be able to do banking if you have an account at that bank.

The Bank of Main Street at one time was a functioning bank. But as far as I know right now it is being used only as the AP processing center.
