Can you park your RV at the resorts?

Our friends will be at the fort for 10 days during Thanksgiving in their new 5th wheel...

Some friend who have a DVC offered them their DVC, as they can not use it, if they don't they will loose a bunch of points...

It happens that the reservation is 2 days after they check out from the fort. This is one reason they took it..

They are planning to leave/check out of the fort, and head over to see some friends and stay with them which was the original plan, they live over in Seminole county.

Return to AKL check in... to the DVC for another 8 nights.. It's a 1 bedroom...

Can they park the truck and RV there? without any problems? He wanted to know can they unhook the truck and the 5th wheel or will it have to stay hooked up?

They plan picking up groceries, and such before checking in.
They already purchased more Park tickets and one night are going to the MVMCP

So anyone have any idea on this or that has done this ? any suggestions or info is much appreciated.

It all depends on the situation. Thanksgiving is much like Halloween and the overflow lot here at the FORT was a NIGHTMARE, people had to park in many different creative places and other overflow lots were 'created'. Ideally, they want to try for one of those and you are allowed to keep it there if you are at another resort OR on a Disney Cruise.
However, if it's full you are often allowed to take it to the resort you are headed to, BUT we were asked to move it once to the MK parking lot, due to an incoming hurricane and sometimes if the lots are very full they may not allow it. You can call ahead and they will most likely say yes right off the bat BUTTTTTTT they can and have changed their mind at the last minute.

We parked out RV in the parking lot of AOA when we stayed there. We had to pay regular parking fees and they had us park it in the rear of the parking lot.
