We purchased canvas backpacks for the grandkids to collect autographs while in the parks this summer. Now one of the bigger kids has found an old autograph book and wants to bring it too. Can she get an autograph on her backpack like everyone else and in her old autograph book as well? I know its alot to ask characters to sign more than one item and I don‘t mind asking the character’s escort first, unless its against the rules.

Plus I can then tell her its against the rules to get her book and new backpack autographed at the same time. Gets me off the hook

I believe when you are meeting characters during meet and greets the only thing they are allowed to sign now are autograph books only and I believe this is a new rule Disney Parks have now for character meet and greets. Before the pandemic began characters used to sign books hats and even backpacks too. But you could always ask the character handler what the rules are because on rare occasions characters will sign a special item for a child who is a huge fan of certain characters

The characters will sign multiple items.

When in doubt ask politely. It often comes down to variables including the personalities involved, how rushed they may be at a certain time and so on. Generally we've found that they will do whatever they can, time and circumstances permitting. It's sort of like sometimes we've been at Princess Fairytale Hall and it wasn't super busy and the princesses are happy to chat with our daughter for 10 minutes or more if there's no one waiting.

Just back, No limits on items or number of items. We had baseball hats signed with sharpies but were behind others who had more than one item. The only restriction we were made aware of was that you couldn't be wearing an item and have it signed.

Thank you!

We had Mickey and Minnie (?) sign an autograph book and a shirt at the Disney Visa Card Meet & Greet. But, I wouldn't feel comfortable asking a character to sign a whole bunch of items. There are other people waiting in line and I think the respectful thing for others is to keep the line moving to a certain extent (if that makes any sense).

I am a character performer. While we can sign a few items, think about what you want to get out of the meet and greet experience. If a character is busy with multiple items, there is less time for meaningful chats and photos
