BW Carousel Coffee Refillable Mug use?

Can you use the refillable mug at Boardwalk’s Carousel Coffee and if so, what can you refill it with (just coffee or can you get tea and/or any specialty drinks)?

Not sure about that location, as it just changed a few months ago, but at every other quick serve, it's been brewed coffee and iced tea only.

We were just there a couple of weeks ago. Carousel Coffee does not participate in the refillable mug program. The only spot at the Boardwalk for that is the Boardwalk Deli on the boardwalk itself. Open 7am-10pm and has brewed coffee, three types of tea, and a soda fountain.

We were surprised that the Boardwalk didn't have a refill station closer to the pool. That may have been our biggest complaint actually (it was a really great trip!).

There are refillable mug coffee dispensers (can’t think of the real name) in the seating area outside of Carousel Coffee. We saw them last week. There was a message stating they were specifically for the refillable mugs.

Did they have soda and tea there too? Or was it just coffee? I didn't see this.

Just coffee unfortunately.

Thanks all for the comments! My wife needs her morning coffee and the refillable mug (that and the $#@%! popcorn bucket) has become a trip tradition; w/o those, a Disney trip just doesn't feel right!

You can. That involves the bar being open though. We would never buy a mug while staying at BWV, we actually won’t buy a mug unless they can be filled w/o going outside.

Very interesting. The guy at the pool bar did refill our mugs once, but (1) he told us that the pool bar wasn't included in the mug program, and (2) they only had Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, and one other thing (lemonade?).

We haven't stayed at BWV for a couple of years so it's possible they changed that rule.
