Buying wine by the bottle on board

Can you buy a bottle of wine on board for the room? Or only in the lounges and MDRs? If so - do we go to a bar and purchase? Thanks!

You can also carry on 2 bottles of wine per person over 21 when you board the ship. You can also buy wine at port and bring it back on the ship. It's the same 2 bottles of wine per over 21.

I saw this but it looked like these were only in the dining room? Can I have them delivered to the room instead?

You can buy a wine package at dinner while on board. You really need to do your homework though, they don't always make financial sense to do so.

That was our experience. We were able to get the exact wines we wanted for less money overall by just buying by the bottle in the MDR. And if there is wine left, they will save it for you in the dining room, or you can take it to your room.

You can also buy wine from the onboard gifts section of the site to have in your room when you arrive. We used to order one champagne for sailaway to drink on verandah and one red wine to drink later. I think you have to purchase it at least three days in advance (??). It will say on the site.
