Britta Water Bottle Question

Is there anyway you can attatch a string or carrier to teh bottle? I don't want to carry it everywhere I go.

I had a mesh holder for another bottle, that has a string around it to wear around your neck. This worked just fine.

We attached our holder that we bought at Epcot (The one they sell for the plastic coke/water bottles) to ours. It's a little heavier than them, but it worked.

You can buy an adjustable bottle strap at any park (I got mine at Epcot) that fits around the indentation of the bottle (approx $3.50?).

Also bought an insulated wrap/bag at AK that comes with a strap and clip. That's the best (approx $10)!!

read my post about the belly bags being on clearence at target. This is what we are going to use in August. I am planning on putting my bottles in the belly bag. Why carry all these things around you.

My dd and I went to WDW last August, and the Brita bottles were a lifesaver. I was an annoying Guest, I'm sure, because I kept filling our bottle with the ice chips they use to keep the spray bottle/fans cold! I figured, hey the filter will screen out most yucky stuff, and as the ice melts, we'll always have cold water!

I got a few borderline dirty looks in EPCOT, but no one told me to stop. It was in the mid-upper 90's on that particular day, which is probably why I was allowed to continue. We got a great deal on our spray fans, by the way, at Wal-Mart. They were about $5, compared to $18 at the parks.

Have a great trip!

Walmart sells a necklace like bottle holder. I saw it hanging on a strip near the checkouts. You can reuse it over and over again on different bottles.

You can buy them online at drugstore.com, I think they run around $7.99. They also sell Brita Fill & Go replacement filters, cost is $6.99 for two. Shipping should be free if it's your first order from them.

WALMART has them but they were in the plumbing section. I thought that was weird. I guess because they are water filtration bottles. I hope you can find them.

i zoomed over to drugstore.com and ordered them there....none to be found at walmart. thanks again for your help!

this is a bottle that is similar to the Brita

(matter of fact I found it interesting that this company Innova were involved in some legal wrangling with Brita. the following links sort of explain it.

I have never tried the Brita bottle, but this Innova bottle is a lifesaver(at least here in Charlotte- should work very well in Disney in 3 weeks)

Don't mean to confuse people, just inform them of choices.

Have a good one.

On our recent trip. DH had a fanny pack that had a bottle holder built in, and I had a backpack with a bottle holder built in. We would freeze bottled water at night, and DH would carry one and throw an extra in the back pack. Each morning I filled the Brita bottle with lots of ice and water. During the day we would fill the Brita bottle at the fountains and transfer it through the filter into the bottles we had frozen. Between the two frozen bottles, they had ice in them all day and we just kept refilling them. I also carried a small container (one that crystal lite comes in) filled with powdered juice mix and a plastic spoon in my backpack with two small plastic cups for the girls. That worked really good too. It was really nice to just sit on a bench and mix them a little juice whenever they wanted it. They mostly drank the water but occassionally asked for the juice and never complained about it.
