Bounce backs during marathon weekends?

Hi, are bounce back rates valid during the marathon weekends? I'm hoping to snag a good rate for the Disney Marathon weekend in January 2012 when we stay at Disney later this summer.

Thanks!

JMO, and this is just a guesstimate, but based on previous years I doubt any BB you might see this summer will include any 2012 dates at all - usually the next years dates don't show until late fall. :guilty:

Good luck though, because you just never know what will be offered :goodvibes

(FYI to help give you an example, looking at this years marathon dates (January 6, 2011 - January 9, 2011 and the half marathon February 25 - February 27, 2011) were not included in the latest BB dates of 1/31-2/5, 2/13-2/19, 2/27-3/5, 5/8-5/27, 5/31-6/4, 8/21-10/8, 10/23-10/29, 11/13-11/19, 11/27-12/3, and 12/11-12/17/2011)

Thanks. Maybe I'll get lucky. Due to a scheduling conflict, I just pushed by bounce back reservation to the beginning of October. Hopefully, they'll be out then.

Sorry if this has already been discussed several times over, but I was wondering if there are typically general public "special offers" for marathon weekend. I would love to run my first Half in Disney, but I don't think I could go without a room discount.

There are discounts through rundisney. For the Wine and Dine, the Friday/Saturday price at a value is regularly $120; with the marathon discount it is $96. It remains $96 for the other days leading up to and following the event when the rack rate drops to $100 and $110. Bounce backs, pin codes, and packages are usually a much better deal.
