I posted this to DVC Fan on Facebook but just in case anyone is not on that page I wanted to share here.
Checked in to BRV yesterday for 5 nights of our split stay. We’re in room 1509, a dedicated studio on the ground floor of the short wing of the building (Bay Lake side).
Rooms look great! So much brighter. I guess the only negatives for us are the absence of a real table and chairs, and reduced drawer space. They do have a small rolling coffee table with a top that raises up, along with a couple of short stools that I guess are meant to serve as seats?
On the plus side, they have a coffee maker with a Keurig on one side and a traditional pot next to it
Some cool art in the room too. I just wish we could find some copies of them for sale!
All in all a nice refurb and much needed!
Btw, a CM from bell services confirmed to us that the entire long wing of the building is closed now from construction, reducing capacity of the building by 2/3 (he said it’s about 100 rooms).
