I AM BOOKING A TRIP FOR NEXT YEAR IN SEPT. 2002. AND I AM A NEW DVC MEMBER. IS IT HARD TO BOOK A DISNEY COLLECTION HOTEL? WE WOULD LIKR TO STAY AT THE POLY.

You can book that trip starting in October 11 months from the day you intend to check out. Be aware that disney collection is an exchange and thus costs more points than staying at your home resort. Why would you want to stay in a hotel room on your first trip instead of a villa? Just curious. I wouldn't give up the extra room of a 1 or 2 bedroom villa for anything!
