We are quickly coming up to the 6 month mark before our trip and I am wondering how imperative it is to be booking dining reservations this far out? We aren't planning on doing character meals again, so some of those really popular places are out. Right now we don't even have park tickets yet as the border situation is still very up in the air (We are Canadian and will have to quarantine our kids for 2 weeks upon return as they are not eligible to be vaccinated yet.) Right now we don't even know if we will be going on the trip as it will mean a full month off school for the kids, unless things change at the border (fingers crossed).
So just wondering how quickly things are booking up and if we can wait until we buy our park tickets before we start figuring out dining plans? We are hoping Disney offers a Canadian Resident deal in the fall so we were thinking of waiting until end of September to buy tickets (unless parks start filling up quickly in which case we won't wait.)
TIA.
